Symbols used in the manual
and on the machine
Read the instructions carefully.
Double insulation.
This symbol is used to mark safety
instructions that must be observed to
prevent damage to persons.
Not to be included in municipal refuse.
Putting in operation and use
Make sure the information on the factory tag
corresponds with the actual voltage of the power
source.
Make sure the socket plug type is compatible
with the type of socket.
The tools designed for 230 V can be connected
also to 220/240 V.
Power On
Press switch button (1) to turn the machine on.
Pressing the staydown key locks the switch and
thus continuous run is achieved.
Power Off
Press the rear part of the switch button shortly (1)
to unlock the button and return it to the Off posi-
tion by the pressure of the spring.

Work instructions

Always guide the shears in the shear with power
on, under the 75° – 80° angle. Then you will
achieve a clear shear and favourable speed.
Do not force the shears in the shear (cut).
During work, make sure the strip of sheet metal
that was sheared off is on the left, which allows
it to roll in front of the gearbox head.
When cutting smaller thin plate, the machine
can be clamped with the flattened head part of
the gearbox.
Shearing radiuses
Do not tilt the shears to the side, push them
carefully into the shear.
Too much shift reduces serviceability of knives
and may result in shears damage.
Sharp knives ensure neat shear and favourable
speed, whilst saving the shears.
Grind or replace knives on time.
When shearing according to a pre-drawn line,
especially when cutting shapes, the shears
should be in reverse position, i.e. with shoe
above the cut material.
Replacement of tools
Pull the mobile supply plug out of the socket.
Lower knife
Release the nut (10). Almost unscrew the set-
screw (9). Fit the lower knife (6) into the shoe
milling (4) and fix using the bolt (8).
Upper knife
Fit the upper knife (7) into the pan and fix using
the bolt (8).
Adjustment of knives spacing
The spacing between knives (a) of
machines delivered is adjusted by
the manufacturer at 0.7 mm.
An ideally adjusted space between knives equals
approximately to 0.2 multiple of material thick-
ness. With soft or tough materials the space
may be reduced, with hard or fragile materials
the space may be increased.
