Maintenance and Cleaning (Measuring Unit PP41.00 only)

Risk of damage to the equipment!
•
Wipe the probe clean and dry before opening!
•
Do NOT use compressed air or high pressure water to clean!
•
Do NOT use any sharp tools (these could damage the inner seal)!
1. Unscrew the stylus.
If there are strong vibrations in the machine or if heavy probe inserts are used, this can lead to an increase in the
probing force to improve the measurement results.
2. Remove service cover with eyelid and conical spring by hand.
3. Clean probe and parts under flowing water.
4. Reassemble all parts.
5. Align the stylus to spindle center.
6. Calibrate the probe!
