Stylus Change (Measuring Unit PP41.00)

Risk of damage to the equipment!
The measuring mechanic is sensitive, thus the stylus must not be screwed in with high force!
•
The torque for screwing in the stylus is M=2 Nm!
•
When using a break shaft adapter (91.00-S-M4/M4), the stylus may only be screwed in with a maximal
torque of 1 Nm (0.74 lbf.ft)!
1. Unscrew the stylus from the touch probe using the mounting pin.
2. Carefully screw the new stylus into the touch probe (Fig. 11).
3. Align the stylus to spindle center (refer to chapter 2.4).
4. Calibrate the probe.
