DIGITAL THERMOMETER FOR BABIES
temperature value is detected.
The change can be equal to 0.2-1°C.
It is not possible to compare the temperature detected using different measurement
methods.
Therefore, it is necessary to consider in case of self-diagnosis or when referring
to the own physician, the type of thermometer used and the area of the body where
the temperature was measured.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR A CORRECT USE
1) Remove the protective cover.
Before any use, disinfect the silicone pacifier using a cloth moistened with alcohol
(70% isopropyl alcohol) or with hot water and some neutral detergent.
Do not immerse the thermometer in water or any other liquids. Make sure that
the silicone pacifier is integral.
2) Switch on the thermometer using the O/I key.
The device emits a short acoustic signal. On the display, all function symbols
switch on just for few seconds. Then, the thermometer displays for some seconds
the last measurement performed followed by L°C. When the symbol °C blinks,
the device is ready for use.
3) Insert the thermometer in the mouth of the baby.
The display keeps displaying L°C till the mouth temperature is measured. It is
suggested to let the thermometer in the mouth of the baby for about 6/8 minutes
to allow the thermometer to measure temperature as precisely as possible.
If temperature is lower than 32.0°C, the display shows "L" (Low); if the
temperature exceeds 42.0°C, the display shows "H" (High).
Caution! Drinking or eating hot or cold beverages and foodstuffs can alter the
measurement results. It is suggested to measure the temperature after about 30

minutes from the last meal.
4) After having measured the temperature, the thermometer emits a long acoustic
signal.
Switch off the thermometer by pressing the key O/I. The thermometer switches
off automatically after 10 minutes.
5) It is suggested to repeat the measurement when the previous measurement is
interrupted.
Should it not be possible to measure the temperature, the thermometer stores
L°C.
At the end of each measurement, clean the silicone pacifier and close the
thermometer with its protective cover. Preserve the device in a fresh and dry place,
out of reach of babies.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Cleaning operations have to be carried out before and after using the
