Philips Healthcare Patient Monitoring and Measurements Group has
developed an MP2/X2 Carry Bag which will be utilized in a transport
environment such as road ambulance, airplane or helicopter by government
personnel (e.g. military, emergency management) and civilian personnel in
the pre-hospital care of patients.
With the MP2/X2 Carry Bag, the patient monitor and monitoring
accessories can be stored and subsequently carried to the injured patient's
field location for immediate use in monitoring the physiological status of the
patient.
The Carry Bag has been specifically-designed to accommodate the MP2/X2
Patient Monitor, and contains several dedicated compartments and fasteners
for mobile applications. There are three sizes of MP2/X2 Carry Bags and all
share common features, but vary primarily in the amount of storage each
contains.
Common features include:
– Ability to use the monitor in the Carry Bag during patient transport
– Quick access to the monitor via a flap
– ECG, NBP and SpO
are ready to use
– Instrument slide-out passageway through right compartment (this
allows the instrument to be removed without disconnecting the patient)
– Handles, shoulder straps and Velcro straps (used for mounting)
– Water-resistant, rugged construction
– SpO pouch, used to block SpO
2
with Night Vision Goggles (optional display NVG filter provides complete
compatibility)
– Tactical mounting via "D" rings and MOLLE (MOdular Lightweight
Load-carrying Equipment) loops
Please note that spare batteries should be kept in a separate compartment and in
the packaging in which they were shipped. This is to prevent unintended shortage
of their pins.
