2.4 Setting the gap for the proximity switch
The gap between proximity switch and counter-magnet should be approx.
20mm.

3. Exchanging the brushes
Note: The brushes are to be exchanged at your discretion. Replacement is
indicated, however, when the shortest bristles at less than 5cm long.

3.1 Replacing the upper brush
Procedure, (see Figure 8):
• Remove the screw (Pos. 1).
• Take off the disc (Pos. 2).
• Pull the brush from the square section (Pos. 3)

3.2 Replacing the lower brush
Procedure (see Figure 9):
• Remove the screws (Pos. 1) on the left and right.
• Loosen the 2 threaded pins on the flanged bearing.
• Pos. 2 can now be removed together with the lower bearing.
• Remove the locking ring (Pos. 3).
• Pull the brush off the square section (Pos. 4).

4. Maintenance
•
Check once a month that all screws are tight. Retighten the screws
if necessary.

Re-grease the slide, if necessary.
•
Please use normal everyday cleaning agents.
•
Never use solvents, acids or caustic agents for cleaning purposes.
•
Gear oil: SAE 90 API GL5
