To prevent deaths, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), and the National Institute of Child
Health and Human Development (NICHD) recommend the following:
• To reduce the risk of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) and suffocation, pediatricians recommend healthy infants be placed on their backs to
sleep, unless otherwise advised by your physician.
• Infants can suffocate on soft bedding. Never place a pillow or comforter under sleeping infant for additional padding or as a mattress substitute.
• Do not cover the heads of babies with a blanket or over bundle them in clothing and blankets. Overheating can lead to SIDS.
• Do not use this mattress in a crib having interior dimensions that exceed 28 5/8 by 53 in. (75 by 135 cm) as measured from the innermost surfaces
of the crib.
• Only use sheets and mattress pads designed specifically for crib mattresses.
To prevent battery leaks, which can burn skin and eyes:
• Remove batteries when storing product for a long time.
• Discard old batteries promptly in accordance with local laws and regulations.
• Always replace the entire set of batteries at one time.
• Never mix old and new batteries, or batteries of different brands or types.
NOTE: This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant to part 15 of the FCC Rules. These
limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation. This equipment generates, uses and
can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio
communications. However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation. If this equipment does cause harmful
interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the
interference by one or more of the following measures:
- Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
- Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.
- Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected.
- Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help.
