6. Installation and Assembly
This equipment may only be installed by a qualified technician who is familiar with the installation, monitoring and
maintenance of this type of equipment, and uses suitable tools.
Electrical
•
Check if the equipment is connected to the power source in accordance with the instructions on the connection
diagram in this document (Fig. 3), and on the cover of the connection box
•
Select a power cable with a suitable cross-section for the current used by the equipment.
•
be connected (a relay, magneto-thermal protection system or fuse), in accordance with current regulations.
•
The equipment's earth connection must be connected.
7. Standard automatic mode setting
•
Automatic CO
mode

When the CO
concentration is between 0 and 500 PPM the fan works at low speed; if the CO
2
between 500 and 799 PPM the fan works at medium speed; and if the CO
PPM the fan works at high speed.
The device operates within a CO
NOTE: The ppm values are an approximation. This equipment is equipped with a VOC sensor (Volatile organic
compounds).
•
Automatic temperature mode
The temperature set by the user is for working at low speed. To work at medium speed, the initial temperature is
increased by 2°C and to work at high speed, it is increased by 4°C.
The device works at an internal temperature range of between 0°C and +50°C.
•
Automatic humidity mode
The humidity set by the user is for working at low speed. If the humidity increases by 5% the fan works at
medium speed and if the initial humidity increases by 10% the fan works at high speed.
The device operates within a relative humidity (RH) range of between 5% and 95%.
IMPORTANT: There are 3 possible combinations for the operation of the device:
1.
CO
control
2
2.
Control of CO
and humidity
2
3.
CO
and temperature control
2
To select this sensor the user must enter manual mode and establish a background value of the scale of the sensors that
you wish to use.
To select the CO
control, you must set the temperature setpoint to 50ºC and the humidity setpoint to 99%.
2
To select the CO
and Humidity control, you must set the desired set point for the Humidity control (%) and adjust the
2
bottom of the temperature sensor scale (50ºC) to the maximum.
To select the CO
control and the temperature, you must set the desired set point for the temperature control (ºC) and
2
adjust the bottom of the humidity sensor scale (99%) to the maximum
8. Functions and characteristics
•
Viewing in real time of the inside CO
•
It shows the current contamination levels of the internal air.
•
Viewing in real time of the inside temperature.
•
Viewing in real time of the inside humidity levels.
•
Automatic speed adjustment, depending on the inside temperature and CO
•
The HRV display system shows the fan status (stopped, low, medium and high speed) and the working mode
(manual, automatic and programmed).
•
Automatic mode: When the "sensor" detects a change in the air quality or temperature, the HRV system adjusts
the fan speed automatically, based on the programmed set point.
•
Manual mode: The user can control the HRV system speed and switch it on.
•
Timer mode 1: The user can establish a timed fan operating cycle (1 minute – 99 hours) and stopping time (1
minute-99 hours).
•
When the colour of the device display is red, this means that the air quality is poor. If the air is of medium quality,
the display will be yellow and if the display is green, this means the air quality is good.
•
After 2000 hours of operation, the device will indicate the need to change the filter through an alarm. The alarm is
displayed by a flashing symbol.
•
To see the hours of operation of the equipment, it must be in the "Timer mode" and the
