First use

Checking the thermometer and
package contents
1. Check to make sure that all components
and accessories have been received
(see figs. A and C).
2. Take the thermometer out of the packag-
ing and check whether the thermometer
or any of the individual parts are broken
or damaged. If this is the case, do not use
the thermometer. Contact the manufac-
turer via the service address indicated on
the warranty card.

The temperature results achieved by using
the thermometer are not to be used as self-
diagnoses or for self-treatment.
− Temperature read-outs do not replace
consulting a doctor. If you are ever in
doubt, consult a doctor.
− If at any time during the use of the ther-
mometer you notice irregularities, imme-
diately stop and consult your doctor.
