Never use direct water.
· When the appliance is not used for a long period of time, it should be unplugged
and stored in its packaging. Make sure the tank is dry and store the air cooler in
dry and ventilated place.
· This appliance should never be left ON without adult supervision.
· Do not insert fingers or allow any foreign objects to enter ventilation openings.
· The air inlets and outlets must not be covered or blocked.
· Do not touch the unit with wet or damp hands, or if barefooted.
· Use only qualified agents for repairs or services.
· Do not use this device in wet or damp locations or in the immediate
surroundings of a bath, a shower or a swimming pool.
· WARNING: Do not cover the appliance!
· To protect against the risk of electrical shock, do not immerse the unit, cord or
plug in water or other liquid.
· Do not add any chemical, metal ingredient into the water tank, these materials
are dangerous and may cause problems.
· Turn the power off before adding water or ice.
· The water in the water tank can't be over than "MAX" water level sign at any
time. When cooling function is ON, the water level in the water tank should be
controlled no lower than "MIN" level.
· If there is water in the water tank, don't lean or move the appliance. If the device
turns and water gets inside, it must be unplugged and allow to dry for 24 hours
before using it again.
· Always use/operate the unit in a well-ventilated area.
· After the first uses there could be a little odor and color change of the water in
the tank.
· Change the water frequently to keep it clean.
· When in operation, evaporative coolers moisturize the ambient air. Over-
humidification of residential rooms should be avoided. Recommendation: 40 –
50 % relative humidity. (Excessive humidity of the air can damage the home and
cause health problems.)
· The appliance may only be set up on water- and moisture-proof flooring
materials (spilling some drops of water is unavoidable when the content of the
tank is changed).
· The plastic of the water tank ages and may become leaky. The tank must be
replaced after 10 years of use.
· With each and every change of tank content, completely remove residual water
from the equipment.
