Note: on the diagram, the TCG function only controls the signal be-
tween 0~5 meters. If the environment is noisy, and you want to see
the underwater conditions in the shallower layer near 0~5m, the TCG
Control must be set on "On".
In air, the signal consumption is much bigger than in water. If you
try to test the sonar sensitivity in the air, the TCG Control must be
set on "Off".
To set the TCG Control:
1- Press Menu to enter into menu setting.
2- Repeatedly Press Menuto switch to SONAR menu.
3- Use the Up / Down Arrow to select TCG Control option.
4- Press Ent to enter into setting.
5- Use the Up / Down Arrow to select the option.
6- Press Ent to confirm the setting.
7- Press Exit to exit the setting.
6. Chart Speed
Chart Speed controls how fast the sonar information
moves across the screen. Setting a high speed value ena-
bles to see more information across the screen. However, this
will make the interpretation of fish and bottom details more dif-
ficult.
Setting a low speed value will make the interpretation of fish
and bottom details easier. However the compressed infor-
mation may cause a little problem for you to interpret
