MOUNTING IN A CEILING PLATFORM
There are two different ceiling platforms:
• Ceiling platform
• Ceiling platform with air admission holes for recirculation
Is the hood mounted in a ceiling platform and the hood is not used for recirculation, the air
outlet must face upwards.

Measure and carve a hole in the ceiling for
the vent.
NOTE: Does not apply if the range hood is
used for recirculation.

Drill the holes in the ceiling

The range hood is mounted in the ceiling platform by following step 2-6 in the para-
graph MOUNTING WITH MOUNTINGS.

Mark the holes from the ceiling platform
on the ceiling.

Mount the ceiling platform to the ceiling.
