4) Bar cutting length (fig. 5):
The total length of the bar (X) must be as close as possible to the useful width (Y) of the door; in any case never less than 60%.
a) establish the value M to be cut
b) remove the rear cover, undoing the M4x8 screw
c) remove the rear cap, undoing the special screws and pull out the bar by releasing it from the rear and front levers
d) loosen the grub screws of the rear support and remove it from the base
e) cut the established length M from the bar and base
After cutting, eliminate any burrs that could prevent insertion of the bar in the front and rear lever assemblies
f) reposition the bar, making sure to engage it in the front and rear lever assemblies
g) reposition the rear support and tighten the fixing grub screws
When length M > 200 mm proceed as follows (fig. 6):
h) repeat steps a,b,c,d
i) loosen the grub screw fixing the connection rod to the front lever assembly
j) loosen the rear the lever assembly fixing screws
l) remove the rear lever assembly from the base together with the connection rod
m) cut length M from the bar and base and cut length M - 200 from the connection rod
n) refit the rear lever assembly together with the connection rod in the base and tighten the fixing grub screws
o) repeat the steps described in points f, g.
After cutting, eliminate any burrs that may prevent insertion of the bar in the brackets.
