Chargers
• Do not attempt to charge disposable
batteries.
• Ensure defective cables are replaced
immediately.
• Keep away from water.
• The charger must not be opened.
• Never insert anything into the charger.
• The charger is only intended for indoor
use.
Charging and � tting the battery
Charge the battery fully before using the drill
for the � rst time.
Insert the plug from the charger into the
mains socket. The LED on the charger lights
up green.
Press the release button (7) on the battery (6)
and take the battery out.
Insert the battery in the charger. The battery
cannot be inserted if the poles are incorrectly
aligned.

The LED (a) on the charger lights up red. The
LEDs (b) on the battery light up or � ash to
indicate the battery status during charging:

Charging takes approx. 1 hour. Once the
battery is fully charged, the LEDs on the
battery go out after around 10 minutes.
Disconnect the charger plug from the mains
and insert the battery into the drill. Make
sure the release button engages so that the
battery is � rmly in place.
During use, the LEDs indicate the status of
the battery:
