D. MAINTENANCE RECOMMENDATIONS
USE PROTECTIVE GLOVES TO CLEAN THE TUBES,
REMOVE SCALE WITH WHITE VINEGAR OR
HYDROCHLORIC ACID. USE PROTECTIVE GLOVES
• You must regularly check for any build up on the quartz tube. If the tube is dirty,
the dirt absorbs the UVc rays thus reducing the efficiency of the unit in fluid
treatment.
• For clear and efficiently filtered water, use the following table to determine the
cleaning frequency in relation to water hardness:
Hardness
Up to 20 °TH
From 21 to 30 °TH
Over 30 °TH
