A. CHANNEL SECTION
All channels of powered mixers and mixing consoles are the same.
Therefore, this manual shows the control functions of only one channel.
1. MICROPHONE INPUT
Standard XLr male connector.
Balanced input wiring:
PIN 1=Ground
Unbalanced input wiring:
PIN 1=Ground
You can use max. 20-60dB according to signal level by GAIN control.
2. LINE INPUT
Use with 1/4" standard line connector, you can use unbalanced (tip/sleeve)
and balanced (tip/ring/sleeve). It can be connected to keyboards or other
electric instruments.
Tip = positive
3. PAD (-20dB)
When you push this switch it attenuates the input signal with –20dB.
4. CLIP (PEAK LEVEL INDICATION)
The LED peak indicator will illuminate when the signal reaches 10dB.
5. GAIN CONTROL
Adjusts input sensitivity from –60dB to –20dB with the –20dB pad switch in the
'out' position and adjusts from –40dB to 0dB when the –20dB pad switch is on.
6. HIGH FREQUENCY EQUALIZATION CONTROL
Provides ±15dB of fixed frequency equalization that shelves at 12KHz.
7. MID FREQUENCY EQUALIZATION CONTROL
Provides ±15dB of fixed frequency equalization that shelves at 250KHz – 6KHz.
8. LOW FREQUENCY EQUALIZATION CONTROL
Provides ±15dB of fixed frequency equalization that shelves at 100Hz.
9. EFFECT CONTROL
Use this control when you want sound effects by adjusting the input signal.
When you don't use an external source, digital delay will work which is
installed inside. See also section D. 'Effect Section'.
10. AUX CONTROL
Sends the signal of the channel to an external source, controlled by the AUX
master section (see Aux section).
11. PAN CONTROL
You can change the balance of the signal from one side to the other.
In the center position, equal amounts of signal are sent to the left and to the
right. When you rotate the control in either direction, more signal is sent to the
indicated side, while less signal is sent to the other side. When you turn the
control completely to one side, only this side will provide a signal.
12. CHANNEL ON/OFF
To activate it, push the button, the green LED indicator will alluminate when
the channel signal has been lined in. Turn off the other channels to improve
the sound and to clear any unnecessary noise.
13. PRE-FADER LEVEL (PFL)
You can control the signal of one channel by turning on the PFL switch.
When the PFL switch is on, other channels are automatically cut off (see
monitor section).
14. INDICATION
You can put a sticker on which you can write the input signal.
15. CHANNEL FADER
