16 – RATING PLATE
The motor rating is displayed on a plate (see fig. 8) and should always be
plainly visible after installation.
If the selected motor arrangement makes the plate inaccessible to view, ask
for an additional plate when you order the motor from the manufacturer and
then place it in close proximity to the motor.
Specifications on the rating plate are as follows (continuation in fig. 8):

2. CE Mark;
3. Year of manufacture;
4. Serial number;
5. Number of phases;
6. Manufacturer's identification code;
7. Massa;
8. Protection against external agents;
9. Insulation class;
10. Maximum ambient temperature;
11. Type of service;
12. Capacitor value (for single-phase motors only);
13. Power rating or range of power ratings;
14. Rated speed or range of rated speed;
15. Voltage rating or range of voltage ratings;
16. Rated frequency;
17. Rated current or range of rated currents;
18. Power factor or range of power factors;
19. Number of the applicable standard.
