the jellow/green earth wire connection in the original position.
Be particularrly careful when carrying out this operation as an incorrect
connection could cause the inefficiency of the instrument.
Insert the connector coming from the hard disk in the controller board.

Re-position the keyboard and restore the connectors and yellow/green
arth wire connections.
Fix the keyboard with the 4 outer screws in the positions indicated
by the letter K, holding the instrument in its natural position
and not tipped over.
Replace the cover in its original position.
Turn the instrument on and press the "DISK" key; the following,
essage will appear on the display: HARD [01 FOLDER_01], which
means that the hard disk has bee installed correctly.
Close the instrument up again following the opening procedure
backwards, being careful to insert the self-tapping screws of various
lengths (A B), in the marked lodgings.
Finally secure the remaining keyboard screws making sure to centre
them perfectly compared to the cover.

NOTES
1) - Folders 02, 03, 04, 05 are protected by a Lock device. This means
that nothing can be deleted from them and no new files can be added.
If you wish to carry out any modifications or edit these folders, first of
all you need to disable the Lock function (Disk Section - User's
Manual for XD9 – XD3).
Modifying Folders 02, 03, 04, 05 by adding new files automatically
causes the alphabetic order of the directory to be up-dated and
as a consequence the lists coming with the Hard Disk will not respect
any longer the exact numbering and may not correspond any more
to the single files.
