3 MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING

3.1 Daily maintenance
Every evening it's necessary to clean carefully the appliance. A daily cleaning ensure a
•
perfect hygiene and a good functioning.
Before starting to clean the appliance, disconnect the power supply.
•
Do not wash the appliance with direct or high pressure jets of water, do not use metal
•
pads, brushes or scrapers in normal steel. If necessary, use stainless steel pads, but do not
rub them against the grain of the metal of the appliance.
The steel parts (exclude the plate) must be washed with hot water and neutral detergent,
•
rinsed and dry with a soft cloth. The appliance lustre is keep along cleaning it with liquid
POLISH.
Do not wash the appliance or the floor with hydrochloric acid.
•
To clean the plate, read the following instructions:
•
a)
Remove all deposit on plate with a wet soft cloth and neutral detergent, eventually
with a the special scraper;
b)
Rinse the plate carefully to eliminate detergent traces, dry with a soft cloth and
empty the drip pan.
If the surface of the plate is not use for some time, it must be covered with a fine film of
•
vegetal oil.
If the appliance is not employ for a long time, it's necessary to dry and clean it carefully
•
with a soft cloth and Vaseline oil in order to protect it.
Drip Pan: the drip pan must be checked regularly and emptied before getting full. In any
•
event, the pan must be cleaned after switching off the appliance. A handle facilitate the
drawer handle.
3.2 Extraordinary maintenance
Once a year, realize a complete check of the appliance by a qualify technician.
•
We recommend to ask for a Lincar assistance centre to stipulate a yearly maintenance
•
contract.
3.3 Control and safety elements
All the parts of the appliance that are subject to wear can easily be accessed from the
•
front of the appliance by opening the door or after removing the front panel.
