13. Disengage the inline connector lever lock. Inspect the
instrument panel side connector for the voice prompt cir-
cuits. Cavity C10 Circuit 5836 with Gray insulation. Cavity
C11 Circuit 5837 with Purple insulation. Cavity C12 Circuit
5838 with Bare insulation. The circuits on the console
wiring side are always present. If circuits 5836, 5837, and
5838 are not present on the instrument panel wiring side,
then the voice prompt wiring jumper, 19202083, is needed.
If circuits 5836, 5837, and 5838 are present on the instru-
ment panel side, then the voice prompt wiring jumper,
19202083, is not needed. See Figure 2.

tion.
14. Disengage accessory trim panel by pulling rearward. Care-
fully pull trim panel away from instrument panel releasing all
fasteners. See Figure 3.

15. Below the radio, remove the 2 screws that retain the acces-
sory switches to the instrument panel.
Go to Step 26 for non-Hybrid (-HP2) vehicles.
For Hybrid (&HP2) Vehicles Only
16. Remove park brake release handle bolt (1). Slide the park
brake release handle (3) forward to remove it from the knee
bolster. Figure 4.
