105.Place in position driver side windshield garnish molding
assembly. See Figure 35.

106.Connect the electrical connector (3).
107.Tabs must be installed prior to retainers.
108.Tabs to be fully seated in instrument panel retainer and
valance panel. The outside edge of the driver's side wind-
shield garnish molding must be seated behind the roof rail
weatherstrip.
109.Install windshield side garnish molding screw (2).
Tighten
Tighten the screws to 2 N•m (18 lb in)
110.Install windshield side garnish molding cover (1).
111.Place in position passenger side windshield garnish molding
assembly.

115.Install front assist handle assembly (3) (passenger side
only). See Figure 36.

116.Install passenger windshield assist handle cover screws (2).
(Quantity 2).
Tighten
Tighten the screws to 6 N•m (53 lb in)
117.Install passenger windshield assist handle cover (1). (Quan-
tity 2).
118.Connect the negative battery cable to the battery.
119.Turn the ignition switch to the ON position. The AIR BAG
indicator will flash then turn OFF.
120.Program Navigation Radio with the latest &U3U or &UVB
calibrations in the Service Programming System - refer to
Service Procedure 1265170.
121.Program recorded preset stations for all radio bands.
