Before assembling:
1. Unpack the device carefully and check the status of the device. The device
must be intact. If the device is damaged, stop the installation and contact FTK
as soon as possible.
2. Check the visual assembly instructions to ensure that all hardware required for
the assembly has been delivered. Filters are placed in the kitchen hood.
3. Do not mount the extractor hood if it is damaged. This action invalidates the
product warranty.
SUPPORT NOTES FOR VISUAL ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
This manual refers to the instructions for assembly FTK ceiling hoods that complement the
illustrated manual for easy installation. Installation and explanations are described below:
1.
Make a hole on the false ceiling of appropriate dimensions.
1.1. This ceiling hood can only be installed on false ceilings.
1.2. Make sure the false ceiling can withstand a minimum load of 35 kg.
1.3. Observe the minimum (1.40 m) and maximum (1.60 m) installation distances on
the cooking surface. We recommend installing the ceiling hood at the minimum
recommend distance to ensure best results.
1.4. Place an accessible electrical plug near the ceiling hood for connection during
assembly. Verify that the plug remains easily accessible once the device is
mounted for easy intervention.
1.5. The ceiling hood can be recessed into plates with a thickness between 20 and
40 mm. Do not mount the ceiling hood directly on plasterboard, always provide
a reinforcement to support the hood fixing brackets.
2.
Disassembly the light holder. Later, disconnect the led lamp cable.
3.
Disassemble the motor. Disconnect the cable to separate the motor from the
hood. Remove the motor protection grill.
3.1. Steps 2 and 3 help lighten the weight of the hood for easy installation.
4.
Take the motor separately and take it to the false ceiling and, using the flexible
flat evacuation duct supplied with the hood, connect the motor fan outlet to the
evacuation duct. The latter had to be planned and connected in advance.
Leave the motor on the false ceiling near the opening.
4.1. Stretch the flexible ducts as much as possible, then cut them to size and connect
to your fixed evacuation duct (considering the length of the flexible in the
evacuation duct).
