• I. INTRODUCTION
Congratulations on choosing this quality SCOTT product. Before
use, please read the following instructions carefully and keep
these instructions in safe custody.
This specific product line has been developed to offer you the
best comfort and fit.
SCOTT Sports SA shall not accept any complaints arising from
using the product for other purposes than that indicated in the
present information notice, nor shall they be liable for any damag-
es and / o r losses due to improper use.
• II. LEGAL REQUIREMENTS
This SCOTT product is considered to be an item of Personal Protec-
tive Equipment (PPE) of Category II and as such is subject to the
requirements laid down by the Regulation (EU) 2016 / 425.
RELEVANT HARMONIZED STANDARDS
This product meets the testing and technical requirements set
out by the Test Program of TÜV SÜD PPP 63046C which includes
parts of the standard EN 1621-2 : 2 014. (please refer to the labelling
inside the product).
• III. INTENDED USE AND LIMITATIONS
This SCOTT product is strictly limited for the respective use indicat-
ed by the pictograms on the certified label on the product (see chap-
ter IV. Product Information). The protector is not to be used for oth-
er sports. The intended and reasonably foreseeable use of this prod-
uct is solely : mountain biking, road cycling, skiing, snowboarding.
A. RISK AGAINST WHICH THE PPE IS SUPPOSED
TO PROTECT
This SCOTT product is designed and manufactured to pro-
vide limited protection against the risk of shock in the event of
a fall. The product does not safeguard against other traumas or
extreme movements. This product provides limited protection
only in the areas covered by the equipment. The product can
