System Description
Radial fan
Dustcontrol's fans are so called radial fans. Th e air is
introduced into the fan at the centre of the fan wheel and
is forced to the fan housing and through the outlet by the
centrifugal force.
Technical data
Dimensions:
Th e capacity curves have been measured and are sta-
ted empirically. Outlet pressure losses from a normal
outlet (silencer, back-fl ow valve/bend) have been ac-
counted for in the curve. Additional equipment such
as a diff user can result in increased pressure loss and
must be taken into consideration.
Stated air-fl ows are for standard air(101.3 kPa@ 20o
C).
Th e stated curves are for negative application, all
pressures stated are assumed to be below relative
atmospheric pressure at sea level. Th ese devices can
also be used for positive pressure application and will
generate a greater pressure diff erential.

Direct driven
Th e fans are direct driven.
Silencing
Th e fan is equipped with vibration isolators and high
quality sound insulation. External inline silencing on the
outlet can be installed as required.
