Installation

In addition to current standards and regulations,
current local requirements for connection to electri-
city and water supply must be observed.
The electrical connection must be established by a
qualified electrician!
1. Before installation, ensure that the heating elem-
ents do not touch one another. If necessary, adjust
them manually.
2. Remove protection material from heating elem-
ents.
3. Install the immersion heater and supplied flat
gasket in the tank sleeve using SW 60 jaw span-
ner and seal with hemp, PTFE or the like. Do not
use pliers or the like!
4. Lead connection cable through the supplied cable
gland into the connection area of the immersion
heater. Make sure that the connection cable is of
sufficient rating.
5. Before operation, make sure that all electrical
connections are correctly established according
to illustration 1 and 2. Ensure correct supply volt-
age.
6. Immersion heaters with a nominal power of 2 kW
and upwards are as default y-connected three-
phase systems of 3-400 V and dimensioned
for direct control. Do not connect the neutral
point to earth wire! The 1.5 kW immersion heater
is to be connected for monophase 230 V. For
nominal powers of up to 3 kW (see table: supply
voltage), a monophase connection with direct
control for 230 V is possible; in this case, how-
ever, the immersion heater must be connected
according to illustration 2. The terminal screw
at the neutral point is intended for this purpose.
The connection must be carried out by a qualified
electrician. Establish bridges at the terminal
screws of the regulator using 1.5 mm
7. In order to rotate the protective cap to the
desired position, remove the cover. Replace cover
after rotation. Be carefull not to displace or
damage the protective cap seals. Only the original
screws with washers can be used for the fixing.
Leakages due to improper installation invalidates
the guarantee.

The water tank must be fitted with water inlet and
outlet tubes made of metal. Other touchable metal

ted in the power supply. Automatic circuit breakers
are also approved as automatic circuit breakers.
