Remember! Never start the generator
without the air � lter in place.
Tank � lter
The tank � lter prevents impurities getting
into the petrol tank during re� lling.
Unscrew the fuel cap. Lift out the tank � lter
and wash it in clean petrol.
Replace the tank � lter and screw the fuel cap
onto the fuel tank.

Spark plug
Clean carbon deposits from the spark plug
after every 100 hours of operation or every 6
months.
Remove the spark plug cap sitting on the
spark plug.
Brush away any dust from the area around
the spark plug.
Unscrew the spark plug using a spark plug
socket.
Use a feeler gauge to measure the electrode
gap, which should be 0.7-0.8 mm.
