2. Separate blower fan housing/engine assembly from backpack frame.
3. Pull fuel line from fuel line connector pipe (P) in fuel tank grommet.
Hold connector pipe to prevent pulling it out of grommet and
separating from fuel line inside tank.
4. Remove return fuel line from grommet (R) with pipe connector
attached, and place fuel line and return fuel line to the side.
NOTE
Some fuel may leak from tubes when handling. Wipe up any spills
immediately and handle tubing carefully.
5. Insert (3) brass collars (B) in Leaf Guard mounting holes from rear
of Leaf Guard. Press firmly to seat collar against Leaf Guard.
NOTE
Rear surface of leaf guard is up when tank opening (T) is on left as
shown in photo.
6. Place Leaf Guard on fan case by fitting diamond-shaped holes in
Leaf Guard over cushions.
7. Align (3) leaf guard holes over (3) mounting holes around the fan
case air intake.
