SPARES AND MAINTENANCE

6.1 Replacing spare parts

If needed, machine parts must be replaced with original spare
parts, in order to guarantee effectiveness. Any parts replaced
must be disposed of in accordance with the current laws re-
garding materials in the country of use. The replacement of
components requires specific training and technical compe-
tence. For this reason, these operations must be performed by
qualified personnel, so as to prevent damage to the machine
and hazards to people.
6.2 Replacement of the cutters in the pre-milling unit
CAUTION
Before performing cleaning, maintenance or adjustment
operations and/or replacing any part, it is mandatory to
set the main switch to 0 (zero) and lock it with a padlock.
Remove pressure from the installation by disconnecting
the safety valve, and then lock it with a padlock. Verify
that all machine parts are cool.
- Open the feeder (A) (Fig. 6.1)
- Loosen the fixing screws and remove the extraction hood
B (Fig. 6.2)
- Lock the C axis using a spanner e/c: 19 in the lower planes
and loosen the fixing screw of the cutter (Fig. 6.3) with Allen
key e/c: 8.
- Cutter E remains free and can be removed for replacement
or re-sharpening (Fig. 6.3)
