1. Remove taillight covers- Open tailgate. Using plastic trim tools, remove plastic cover near taillight from both sides. Then using a T30 star driver, remove (2) screws
holding the taillight housing, driver side. Using T25 and T30 star driver, remove (2) screws attached to fascia, see Figure 4. Repeat steps on passenger side.
2. Remove rear bumper fascia - a.) Remove heat shields -On the underside of vehicle, driver side. Using a T25 star driver, remove 5 screws and remove heat shield.
Repeat steps on passenger side. Set fasteners and heat shield aside to be reinstalled.
