· Remove timer from valve. Clean and dry the timer and valve.
· Remove the batteries. Clean the contacts in the battery compartment.
Apply new battery and terminal protection compound. If the batteries show
any sign of corrosion, discard them.
· Store timer in a warm and dry place (avoid freezing).
· To insure proper electrical operation from the timer to the base remove the
timer as needed and clean the electrical contacts on both timer and base.
Note: If the hose faucet is installed in a cold region, the timer and valve
must be removed to prevent the faucet from freezing.
