If the computer is already running, exit all programs. If you are not logged in
as root, log out, then log in again as root.
2. Insert the Software CD into your CD-ROM drive.
3. Copy the CLI_Installer...FreeBSDx.bin file from the Software CD
\CLI\FreeBSD directory to the /root directory on your PC.
4. Open a terminal window and type
sh CLI_Installer...FreeBSD.bin -i silent
and press Enter.
CLI_Installer...FreeBSD.bin represents the exact name of the CLI binary
file, such as
CLI_Installer_3_15_0000_00_x64FreeBSD7.bin, or
CLI_Installer_3_15_0000_00_x86FreeBSD7.bin
5. Reboot the PC or server.
After the installation is finished, type cliib with any shell to start the CLI.
