ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS OF THE ACTIVE DRIVER TO THE ELECTROPUMP
Ensure that all the terminals are fully tightened, paying particular attention to the earth
5.1
terminal .
Check that all the connecting cables are in excellent conditions, with the external sheathing unbroken.
5.2
The motor of the installed electropump must comply with the data in the table in Chapter 4.
5.3
The user connected to the ACTIVE DRIVER M/M 1.1 must not exceed 8,5 A as phase current.
The user connected to the ACTIVE DRIVER M/T 1.0 must not exceed 4,7 A as phase current.
The user connected to the ACTIVE DRIVER M/T 2.2 must not exceed 9,3 A as phase current.
The user connected to the ACTIVE DRIVER T/T 3.0 must not exceed 7,5 A as phase current.
The user connected to the ACTIVE DRIVER T/T 5.5 must not exceed 13,3 A as phase current.
Connect the electropump to the output cable of the ACTIVE DRIVER, paying particular attention to the
5.4
earth connection.
The incorrect connection of the earth lines to a terminal other than the earth terminal may
cause irremediable damage to the whole appliance!
The incorrect connection of the power supply line on output terminals intended for the
load may cause irremediable damage to the whole appliance!

CONNECTION TO THE POWER SUPPLY LINE

Connect the ACTIVE DRIVER to the power supply line by means of the power socket.
6.1
(See values in chapter 4).
If an extension to the power cable is used the following minimum sections must be respected:
6.2
Section of each lead (mm²)
If the power cable is extended FOR THE MOTOR OUTPUT, for example in supplying submerged
6.3
electropumps, in order to comply with the regulations on electromagnetic emission, ensure that the cable is
installed in underground channels (minimum depth 20 cm). If the cable extension exceeds a length of 1.5 metres
out of the ground, connect to mains filters, as indicated in the following table
Mains filters
Mains filter IN 25A single-phase
Mains filter IN 50A three-phase
Mains filter OUT 10A three-phase
Mains filter OUT 13A three-phase
Mains filter OUT 18A three-phase
For correct operation the mains filter must be installed close to the ACTIVE DRIVER!
The ACTIVE DRIVER is already provided with current protections. If a magnetothermal switch is
6.4
installed in line, it must have a max. capacity of 16A.
The connection of the line to the ACTIVE DRIVER must include the earth line. The total earth resistance
6.5
must not exceed 100 Ohm.
