not be exceeded.
Always equip the test fixture with the correct protective conductor wiring, a protective
conductor connection and an integrated safety switch before carrying out testing work.
The test fixture must be customised so that it is safe to touch and does not permit tools with
a diameter of > 2.5 mm to come into contact with live parts.

T
EST ADAPTER CONFORMING TO THE
Fully wired test adapters with drive are treated by INGUN as a machine as set out by Machin-
ery Directive 2006/42/EC and therefore delivered with CE mark. Before commissioning the
test adapter, the operator must ensure that the test system is able to meet the following
specifications:
- Emergency shut down (see Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC, Chapter 1.2.4.3. page 16)
- Avoidance of the risk of uncontrolled movement (see Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC,
Chapter 1.3.9. page 19)
- Separation of energy sources (see Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC, Chapter 1.6.3. page
23)
- Functional tests of the electrical equipment and the functions of electrical safety circuits
(see DIN EN 60204-1, Chapter 18.6. page 88)

Use
4.1)
Intended use
The manual MA xxxx series test fixture is designed specifically for use in the field of industrial man-
ufacturing/testing of electronic assemblies. The test fixture is connected to an existing test system.
The electronic assemblies to be tested are connected within the test fixture and are then tested or
programmed. A replacement kit (ATS) suitable for the electronics to be tested is installed in the
test fixture. The test fixture must be operated only with original Ingun ATSs.
4.2)
Foreseeable incorrect application
Operating the test fixture is not permitted if one of the following incorrect uses applies:
Operating with incompletely mounted housing
Operating with unapproved test voltage
Unauthorised modification or conversion of the test fixture by the operator or the staff
Any method of working that impairs safety
Any method of working that goes beyond the intended test operation
