USER INSTRUCTIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS
FOR YOUR SAFETY: In order to ensure maximum protection and comfort, your headgear must be the correct size and fit
properly. Please follow these instructions
1. Adjustment and Fit: For adequate protection this headgear must be a snug fit on the wearer's head and worn in a man-
ner that does not allow undue displacement. It is worthwhile taking the time to ensure correct adjustment. The chinstrap
must be fastened correctly. Remove the chin strap through the loop (at the bottom) at your left ear. Adjust the strap to
the right size for a correction fit and attach the strap with the Velcro. Once adjusted it should not be possible to push the
headgear off your head from either front or rear.
2. Use: This headgear is only designed for "Bananaboat riding" and "tubing activities" on the water. This headgear is
intended for protection against light impact only. It is NOT designed for use with any powered Craft or for Wheeled
Sport. The attention of users is drawn to the danger of modifying or removing any of the original component parts of the
headgear, other than as recommended by the headgear manufacturer. Headgear should not be adapted for the purpose
of fitting attachments in any way other than that recommended by the headgear manufacturer.
Do NOT apply paint, solvents, adhesives, self adhesive labels or stickers to the headgear other than in accordance with
instructions from the headgear manufacturer.
Headgear should be transported in a manner that is not likely to reduce the adequate protection afforded. During trans-
portation the headgear must not be stacked or compressed or be subjected to abrasion, contamination or prolonged
exposure to direct sunlight.
3. Care, Inspection and Storage: The useful life of the headgear is affected by many factors, including heat, cold, pro-
longed exposure to direct sunlight, compression, abrasion and misuse. The headgear should be examined before each
use for obvious signs of cracking, brittleness, or damage. Whilst the headgear is free from these defects it is suitable
for its intended purpose.
4. Cleaning and Storage after use: It is recommended that the headgear be cleaned at suitable intervals by using warm
water followed by drying with a soft cloth. The headgear should not be cleaned with abrasive substances or solvents.
For cleaning, maintenance or disinfection, use only substances that have no adverse effect on the headgear and are not
known to be likely to have any adverse effect upon the wearer when applied in accordance with the manufacturer's in-
structions and information. Dry the headgear at room temperature in a dry atmosphere. Do not force dry in direct heat.
After use and when dry the headgear should be stored in a cool dry place, out of direct sunlight. The headgear should
not be loose stacked or in contact with any contaminants.
