red LED lights up:
Charge procedure in progress; battery is being
charged.
red and green LED flash alternately:
Temperature error; battery is too hot and can not
be charged
remove battery and allow to cool
down.
red and green LED flash at the same time:
Charging is not possible; battery is defective
replace battery.
Red LED Lightsup and green LED flashes:
No charging possible; battery defective or too hot
Replace battery.
Indicator for Battery Charge Condition
The indicator 15 on the tool is used to gauge the
charge condition of the battery. It lights up red when
the battery must be charged.
Gas Cartridge
Attaching the Metering Valve
For precise metering of the gas mixture required for the
combustion procedure, the supplied metering valve
must be attached onto the gas cartridge. Only this me-
tering valve guarantees a precise dosing of the gas
mixture and thus the resulting impact force.
1. Press the protective cap 17
toward the front and take it off.

2. Remove the protective cap.
3. Align the edge straightly.
4. Attach the metering valve 18
onto the nozzle of the gas cart-

ridge 19 and allow it to
engage in the front groove.
Do not point the outlet ope-

ning of the metering valve to-
wards face or eyes!
5. Press on the rear edge until
it engages.
6. Press the rear part of the me-
tering valve downward until it
can be heard to engage
(2 "clicks").
Take off the metering valve 18 before trans-
port and storage and attach it again together
with the gas cartridge.
Inserting a Gas Cartridge
Remove the battery from the tool before inser-
ting the gas cartridge.
Press on the cover 16 of the port (inclined and up-
ward) ( ) and fold it outward ( ).
Caution: Please observe that the measuring valve of
the fuel cell is green.
Insert the gas cartridge 19 with the attached mete-
ring valve into the port. Pay attention that the nozzle
of the metering valve engages into the small green
adapter 20.
