4. Guide lap belt b over the child seat and

engage the belt tongue in belt buckle a.
5. Insert lap belt b in the blue seat belt

guides c on both sides of the child seat.
Caution Do not twist the belt.
6. Pull lap belt b tight.

Caution Make sure that belt buckle a is not
located in blue seat belt guide c or extends
so far forwards that it is in front (in the
direction of travel) of blue belt guide c.
7. Check that the child seat is installed

correctly.
8. If necessary, remove the child seat from
X
the vehicle and repeat steps 2 to 7 until
the child seat is secured correctly.

9. Fold out D-SIP

vehicle door.
Note: The extended D-SIP
additional accident protection in the event
of a side impact. Never use it to carry or
secure the child seat.

For the safety of your child, check before
each journey that:
the child seat is installed against the

direction of travel.
the child seat is only attached to the front

passenger seat if no front passenger
airbag can act on the child seat.
the child seat is secured in the vehicle with

a 2-point seat belt as described above.

belt guides c of the child seat.

belt guide c or extends so far forwards
that it is in front (in the direction of travel)

the seat belt is tightened and not twisted.

Removal
Caution When not in use, keep the child seat in
a clean and safe place. Do not place any heavy
objects on the child seat and do not store it
next to heat sources or in direct sunlight.
