1. Lower vehicle exhaust - remove the rear and side hangers. Support
the exhaust to prevent damage. Spraying a lubricant or soapy water on
the metal hanger rod and the rubber isolator helps removal.
3. Install hitch A - Raise hitch into position and insert fasteners. Starting on the
driver side insert items 1 & . Passenger side insert item 4 & 5. Insert items
through both the hitch bracket(s) and vehicle frame as shown in Figure 1 for
support.

2. Trim (bottom side) fascia appearance panel - as shown in figure 2 trim
facia. The trimming allows for clearance for the hitch structure. Caution:
look at all sides of panel before trimming. Be careful not to damage any
sensors, wires or others.

4. Install hitch B – Bottom side insert item 7 & 8 through hitch bracket and into the
vehicle frame welds nuts as shown in Figure 1 (Hand tighten). NOTE: It may be
necessary to clean debris/corrosion from existing weldnuts in frame using a wire
brush. Install remaining items 2,3 &6 onto matching bolts.
