8. Troubleshooting

Fault
Staus indicator does not
light up, or only lights up
from time to time, although
the therapy device is
working properly.
Flow does not reach
prescribed level
Warning!
• If there are any faults that cannot be rectified immediately, switch off
the device and do not use it any longer. Otherwise there is a risk
of fire. Contact the manufacturer – WEINMANN – or your
specialist dealer without delay about getting the device repaired.
Cause
No power supply
Leak in breathing mask
Kink in tubes
Excessive resistance in tube
system, output pressure of oxygen
system not high enough
Remedy
Check plug-in contact for firm fit
Adjust cap so that mask is a firm fit. If
necessary, replace faulty mask.
Check all tube connections.
Shorten O supply tubes. If necessary, use
2
different oxygen supply system (e.g.
OXYMAT 3).
