Precaution
You should follow the instructions and procedures signaled in
this instruction manual in order to prevent any damage to the
central bus and/or the connected USB devices.
Introduction
Your new STEREN USB hub is a universal serial central bus
which is a USB cable concentrator and a bridge between the
PC's principle USB controller and USB devices.
This is a full-speed USB center which administers one high-fl ow
port and four low-fl ow ports.
Supports both speeds (12 Mbps and 1.5 Mbps) for devices such
as keyboards, mice, joysticks, etc.
Models USB-500 and USB-505 power themselves only through
the USB bus. (They get power through the computer's USB port)
Models USB-502 can power themselves either through the USB
bus or through self-power. (Can be powered through an AC/DC
power converter)
Models USB-500, USB-505, and/or USB-510 have an energy
indicator light (LED) which will illuminate when the hub is
connected to a PC or MAC and LED indicators for the
connection of the equipment. (Turns on when a USB device is
connected).

System Requirements

1. Microsoft Windows 98 or later.
2. Your PC must have a principal USB controller within the
system.
