PROGRAM THE WATTS P9.-
Programming the watts produced.-
If, after selecting manual mode, you
press the ENTER key four times the
watts window will start flashing.
By pressing the UP / DOWN– keys
you can program the watts to produce
for
the
exercise
350Watt.). Select the watts and press
START to begin the exercise. The
exertion level for the exercise is self
adjusting based on the speed and
number of watts selected. Three
symbols will help you with your
training sessions:
▲ – Within the work margin, this
indicates that the speed is too high
and you should slow down.
▼ – Within the work margin, this
indicates that the speed is too low and
you should speed up.
------- This indicates that the watts
being produced are outside the work
limit (either too high or too low) so you
should speed up or slow down
accordingly. The monitor will beep
several times to indicate this status. If
the situation continues for more than
three minutes, the monitor will give six
beeps and then switch itself off,
resetting the watt value back to zero.
HEART RATE CONTROL
PROGRAM P10-P12.-
Program 10 to 12 are used for Heart
Rate Control (HRC).
With programs 10 to 12 you can
specify various maximum heart rate
(between
10-
levels based on your age (maximum
value calculated from 220 minus your
age).
Program 10 is for 60% maximum heart
rate level.
Program 11 is for 75% maximum heart
rate level
Program 12 is for 85% maximum heart
rate level.
To use these programs: Press the
START key to switch the monitor on,
the words PROGRAM 1 will appear on
the screen. Use the UP / DOWN–
keys to select the program graph from
10 to 12.
Press ENTER and the TIME window fl
ash, you can now specify the duration.
Press ENTER to program in the
distance. Press ENTER to program in
the calories. Press ENTER to program
your age. Press START and begin the
exercise.
