Our ash vacuum cleaner is not only a top quality and highly reliable product, but it is also easy to use and offers a safe and
long-lasting operating life.
It has been designed to vacuum only cold ash. It is not suitable for boilers or for fuel oil stoves nor can it be used for plaster
powder or cement dust.
IMPORTANT - Safety warnings - Read carefully before use
- Do not leave the ash vacuum cleaner plugged in when not in use. Always stop the appliance with the ON/OFF switch before
taking the plug out of the socket.
- Do not pull the electric lead.
- Do not use to vacuum water or other liquids
- The cover of the motor compartment must only be cleaned with a dry cloth.
- Do not leave the ash vacuum cleaner outdoors, it must always be kept in a dry place and not where it could be affected by
bad weather conditions.
Electric lead : if the electric lead is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, by the manufacturer's customer
service or by qualified people.
- This device is not intended for use by people (including children) with limited physical, sensorial or mental capacities or by
people lacking in experience or knowledge unless they are assisted or shown how to use the appliance by a person
responsible for their safety.
HOW TO PREPARE AND USE THE ELECTRIC ASH VACUUM CLEANER
- Place the appliance on a flat surface.
- Make sure the filter is fitted in its housing (fig.4)
- Connect the steel pipe to its fitting "A" (fig.1).
- Before cleaning the stove make sure that it has cooled down properly. Before vacuuming the ash, check that it is cold and
no longer alight.
- Plug the electric lead into a socket, making sure the voltage is suitable for the characteristics of the appliance plense,
checking the rating label on the appliance.
- Turn the appliance on using the luminous ON/OFF switch (n. 1) located on the cover of the motor.
- Vacuum the ash directly from the fireplace or from the stove using the steel pipe.
- If there should be a reduction in the suction power, turn the motor off using the switch and when the motor is completely still,
operate the lever several times to reset the filter (fig.2). To do this, pull out the knob fully and then release it sharply so that it
shakes the filter inside the appliance. Now, turn the appliance on once again using the switch.
It is advisable, in any case, to clean a max. of 2/3 Kg of ash during each cleaning operation. Operate the filter reset lever
(n. 6), before each cleaning cycle (fig.2).
- When the stove or fireplace has been cleaned, the appliance and suction filter must then be cleaned (this operation must be
carried out outside the house).
- Once the filter has been cleaned, check whether it is suitable for further use. If it has been damaged or broken, replace it
with an original Ribimex filter.
- To take out the filter, remove it forcefully. To insert the new filter, press on it as far as it will go.
CAUTION:
Before carrying out any cleaning or maintenance operation, the plug must always be removed from the socket. If these
instructions are not followed, the guarantee will automatically become null and void.
The only filter that can be cleaned - replaced by the user is filter group n. 8.
Filter n. 5 must only be replaced by qualified staff.
FOLLOW THE ADVICE GIVEN BELOW FOR THE CORRECT USE OF THE PRODUCT:
- Hold the suction nozzle about one centimetre above the ash.
- When the appliance is no longer in use, turn it off and take the plug out.
SPARE PARTS:
Spare filters are available by the retailer or the place where the appliance was purchased.
The smooth running of this appliance is guaranteed at the following conditions: the guarantee gives entitlement to the
repair of faulty parts. The guarantee does not cover any deterioration caused by a failure to comply with the operating
regulations or due to causes unrelated to the appliance. The cost of transport is at the user's expense. No compensation will
be agreed in the event of failure to comply with the regulations.
Duration : the guarantee lasts for two years starting from the date of purchase.
Validity of the guarantee : the benefits of the guarantee will be made available upon presentation of an invoice or a receipt
showing the date of purchase.
