Possible cause and suggested solution
Make sure that the appliance is plugged in or that
the plug is firmly plugged into the socket.
Check whether the mains voltage is too low.
Determine if there is a power failure or short circuit.
Food with a strong smell should be well packed.
Check for spoiled food.
Wipe out the inside of the freezer.
Long use during the summer months and at high
temperatures is not uncommon.
The appliance should not be overloaded with too
much food.
Food should cool down before it is put in the
freezer.
The doors are opened or left open too often.
The door is obstructed by packaging etc..
There is too much food in the freezer.
Make sure that the floor is at ground level and that
the freezer is stable.
Check whether accessories have been placed in
the correct places.
Condensation on the outside surface and on door
seals is normal if the outside humidity is too high.
Wipe the condensate with a clean, dry cloth.
Buzz: The compressor may buzz during operation
and the buzzing is particularly loud during starting
and stopping. This is normal.
Creaking: Coolant flowing in the unit can cause a
creaking, which is normal.
