GENERAL FEATURES
Using ALCAD’s "VideoPorteroPC" application, you can now control from the desktop of your
personal computer (PC) the entry of outsiders to your property, as well as identifying the
person who is calling. Since this system is equipped with a confidentiality feature, only one
line is active at any given moment, thereby always ensuring that conversations between a
flat and a caller remain completely private.
Other features of "VideoPorteroPC" allow you to do a great deal more. For example:
Auto switch-on. With this feature, you can see the image captured by the video unit of the
entrance panel, even without first receiving a call. Auto switch-on can be useful for security
purposes, or when, for some reason, one wishes to establish communication with the
entrance panel.
Manual screenshot. Allowing you at any moment to save a picture of the image captured
by the video unit of the entrance panel.
Automatic screenshot.
This feature offers the possibility of defining the moment at which the screenshot will be
taken, i.e. the time that will elapse from the moment that the call is received until the
automatic screenshot.
All the screenshots you take are automatically saved to the hard disk of your PC. It is possible
to configure the limit number of saved images.
Visitor’s Book, containing all screenshots that have been taken along with their time and
date.
Automatic door-opening. This feature allows you to open the door automatically when you
receive a call.
Unanswered calls notification.
Control of picture quality: brightness, contrast and saturation.
Control of the position, size and appearance of the application window.
