4.2. Advanced options
Signal interval: this represents the amount of time between transmissions guides. Before the
station enters into energy saving mode, a know interval guide is needed when awakening to
receive the guide, and learn if there are isolated frames on the access point.
DTIM Period: the DTIM period is confi gured in the element of TIM information in the fi eld of
the DTIM period. This fi eld represents the number of interval guides which should go before
you send a new DTIM, it is one byte
Preamble mode: "Short" is suitable for a wireless network with a heavy traffi c. "Long"
provides more stability; the default setting is "Short".
Set defaults: this button returns the advanced settings to default.
Apply: This button applies and saves your settings.
4.3 Statistics
The statistics table shows data packets transmitted and received during this session. You
can click the "Reset" button to clear these values and restore the account.
4.4 ICS
In this option you can adjust the shared connection of Internet (Internet Connection Sharing
(ICS)). Select the network that you want to share in the list, then click on "Apply".
When you log on successfully, you can share the network with other devices.
