Intended Use
We do not permit using the device in other ways like described in chapter
„Description and Function" or in the „Safety Instructions". Use the product
only in dry interior rooms. Not attending to these regulations and safety

Connection and installation
5.1
Connection
1.
Plug an Ethernet cable into the RJ45 socket of the adapter.
2.
Plug the other end of the Ethernet cable into a network device (e.g.
HUB, router, switch).
3.
Insert the USB-C™ plug of the adapter into a USB-C™ socket of
your notebook/PC.

5.2
Installation and Settings for Windows
This product does not require any driver for installation. The installation
will start automatically when connecting the adapter with the computer.
The device is displayed in „Device Manager" once the installation is
completed.
5.2.1
Automatic setting of the IP address
1.
After installation, click on ʺSettings / Network & Internet /
Network and Sharing Centerʺ to display the new Internet
connection.
When the network has received the IP address, you can connect to
the network.
5.2.2
Manual setting of the IP address
1.
Click on the new Internet connection.
A new window opens.

Click on ʺPropertiesʺ.
3.
Click on ʺInternet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4)ʺ.

Select ʺUse the following IP addressʺ and enter the IP address.

Select ʺUse the following DNS server addressʺ and enter the
DNS address.
5.3
Installation and Settings for MAC OS
This product has a plug-and-play connection on MAC OS.
5.3.1
Automatic setting of the IP address
When the network adapter has been connected and detected, it appears
under ʺSystem Preference / Networkʺ.
5.3.2
Manual setting of the IP address
1.
Select the network adapter in the menu ʺNetworkʺ.

Click on ʺAdvancedʺ.
3.
Click on ʺTCP/IPʺ.
4.
Select ʺUsing DHCP with manual addressʺ in the ʺConfigure IPv4ʺ
box and enter the IP address.

Maintenance, Care, Storage and Transportation
The product is maintenance-free.
NOTICE!
Material damage
Clean only with a dry, soft cloth.
Do not use cleaning agents and chemicals.
Store cool and dry.
Store the product out the reach of children and in a dry and dust-
protected ambience when not in use.
Keep and use the original packaging for transport.

Packaging
Packaging can be disposed of free of charge at the suitable collection
points – paper belongs in paper bins, plastics belong in yellow sacks and
glass belongs in used glass bins.
