Warning: Danger of fi re or electric shock
Do not immerse the power cord of the power plug in water or another liquid.
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed,
including the following:
• Read all instructions.
• The exterior of the grill will become very hot during use. Do not touch hot surfaces.
Use the knobs (or the „ + „ or „—" button) to adjust the time.
• Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
• To protect against electric shock, do not immerse cord, plug, or any parts of the grill
in water or other liquids.
• Do not operate appliance with damaged cord or plug or after the appliance malfunc-
tions, or has been damaged in any manner. Contact the agency of the product you
bought, for information on examination, for repair or for adjustment.
• The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the appliance manufacturer
may cause hazard or injury.
• Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner.
• Do not let the cord hang over the edge of table or counter, or touch hot surfaces,
including the stove.
• When operating the grill, keep at least four inches of space on all sides of the grill to
allow for adequate air circulation.
• Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before putting
on or taking off parts, and before cleaning.
• To disconnect, turn the timer knob to „ off „ (or press the „—" button till the small
screen display „ 0 „), then remove the plug. Always hold the plug, never pull the cord.
• Extreme caution must be used when moving an appliance containing hot oil or other
hot liquids.
• Do not clean with metal scouring pads. Pieces can break off the pad and touch electri-
cal parts, creating a risk of electric shock.
• A fi re may occur if the grill is covered, touching, or near fl ammable material, includ-
ing curtains, draperies, walls, and the like. During operation or before the grill cools
down, do not store any fl ammable item on any surfaces of the grill.
• Extreme caution should be used when using containers other than metal or glass.
• Use extreme caution when removing oil-slot or mini drip tray or disposing of hot
grease or other hot liquids.
• Do not store any materials, other than manufacturers recommended accessories in
this grill when not in use.
• This appliance is off when the timer in the "off " position. When not in use, the grill
should always remain unplugged from the wall outlet.
• Always wear protective, insulated mitts when inserting or removing items from the
