Warnuing: Danger of fire or electric shock
Do not immerse the power cord, the power plug or the appliance in water.
• Read all instructions.
• If you pass on this appliance to a third party, these operating instructions must also
be handed over.
• Incorrect operation and handling can lead to malfunction of the appliance and
injuries to the user.
• This appliance is not suitable for commercial use or for use in the open air.
• Before inserting the plug into the mains socket, please check that the current
power supply complies with the specifications on the type plate.
• Use only the raclette for its intended use.
• To protect against a risk of electric shock, do not immerse the raclette in water
or any other liquids.
• Never yank cord to disconnect from outlet; instead, grasp plug and pull to disconnect.
• Do not allow cord to touch hot surface. Let the raclette cool down completely before
cleaning.
• Do not operate the raclette with a damaged cord or if the raclette has been
dropped or damaged. To avoid the risk of electric shock, do not disassemble
the raclette; take it to a qualified serviceman for examination agency for repair.
Incorrect reassemble can cause a risk of electric shock when the raclette is used.
• Close supervision is necessary for any appliance being used by or near children.
Do not leave raclette unattended while connected.
• To avoid a circuit overload, do not operate another high voltage appliance on the
same circuit.

• The heating element has been slightly greased and as a result the raclette might
slightly smoke when switched on for the first time. After a short while, this will
cease. Let the raclette work for 10 minutes before first use, which will remove the
smell and smoke.
