With the help of the user instruction of the product and the inspection sheet, and without any specific tool or a particular measuring device. Observe and
touch each component of the product in order to detect possible anomalies. If one or more checkpoints are defective, the harness must be withdrawn from
service and replaced by a compliant device. The use of this document for periodic inspection is reserved for competent persons.
Rope's top tip : Verify the condition of the rope's top tip, the plastic thimble and the rope, the stitching

and the transparent protective sleeve. It should not be worn nor cut nor burnt nor damaged not stained
by chimical products such as paint, cement etc... that could weaken any component.
Marking : Check that the marking is present and readable .

Rope's down tip : Make sure that the rope's down tip is present and check the condition of it's

transparent protective sleeve.
Guided type fall arrester : Check the condition of each component of the guided type fall arrester. It

should not be misshapen, nor cut, nor wear nor oxidized.
