Cleaning
Fireplace window cleaning liquids are quite
effective products.
Never try to clean the glass while the fireplace is
working.
Replacing.
The glass pane in your fireplace is made of ceramic
material, especially manufactured for wood
fireplaces.
If it should break due to an accident, it must be
replaced by another glass pane with the same
technical specifications. Contact our Distributor to
provide you with the appropriate glass pane,
together with instructions to assemble and seal it.
REMOVING ASH.
The cast iron fireplace includes an ash pan below
the hearth. (See Fig.-7)
To eliminate ashes, withdraw the cast iron grill
(round cover) using a protective glove, and remove
it from the fireplace to facilitate the cleaning
operation.
Sweep the ash using a scraper or brush towards
the ash pan. Remove the ash pan and throw away
the ash.
5.- PRODUCTS FOR THE PRESERVATION

- Anti-heat paint, for cast iron or sheet metal
parts.
- Refractory putty, to improve air-tightness and
sealing.
- Window cleaning liquid, an ideal product to
eliminate carbonised grease from cooker
windows, chimneys...
6.- SAFETY
Gas/wood/pellet fireplaces get hot when in use.
Consequently, owners must act with precaution
and keep at a distance. Especially keep children,
the elderly and other people who require special
supervision, as well as pets, away from the
fireplace when it is in use.
Make sure that children and anyone else not used
to the workings of a fireplace, are supervised by
an older person when near.
To avoid burns and also to protect vulnerable
people it is advisable to use a fireguard or screen.
