detected, all indicators in the display will flash. In this case, or if you are unable to rectify

Keep the measuring tool clean at all times.
Never immerse the measuring tool in water or other liquids.
Wipe off any dirt using a damp, soft cloth. Do not use any detergents or solvents.
Take particular care of the reception lens (7), which must be handled with the same level
of care you would give to a pair of glasses or a camera lens.
